Auto-updates ask before installing
Once installed, the client polls our update manifest every few minutes. When a new version is available, you get a centered glass prompt with Install / Later / Skip — never silent installs.
Sign in on first launch
After install, the client opens a welcome panel and asks for your workspace email + password. We never store passwords locally — only a 7-day session token that you can revoke from the admin portal at any time.
